Abstract
Unlike lower-luminosity active galactic nuclei, quasars have been associated with interactions and major mergers for long. Moreover, quasars may serve as robust tracers of the underlying matter density field at higher redshifts where galaxy cannot be used.Quasars’ affiliation to superstuctures, clusters and voids, is identified on the basis of large catalogs. We explore a number of quasar parameters, like radio-loudness, AGN types, etc., and analyse their relation to the environment.
