Awards

Astronomical Observatory grants annual awards in four categories:

  • Award for scientific achievements,
  • Award for scientific achievements of early-career researchers,
  • Award for contributing to the development of the Observatory (for employees), and
  • Award for contributing to the development of the Observatory for individuals and organizations outside the Observatory

The awardees are selected by the Scientific council of the Observatory from the candidates suggested by the research staff or the Director.
