Abstract. The main topic of our review will be the activities held by the Astronomy Department at the Petnica Science Center (PSC) from 2021 to 2023. The focus of the As- tronomy Department has been on high school students as participants and the programs created for them. During the whole of the educational cycle at the Astronomy Department, conceived as a two-year program, participants are introduced to the fundamentals of astron- omy and its research methodology in the first year, which ultimately leads to the completion of their first research projects by the end of the second year. Therefore, in this review, we will present the current structure of the Astronomy Department at PSC, the topics of the participants’ research projects, some of the other activities carried out during the mentioned period, and the outline of our plans for the future.
